Self Deliverance Bible Study
The following are the videos that we recorded for a new Bible Study which we have begun which is entitled Self Deliverance. They are meant to be watched in order and they are about some pretty serious material, so please make sure that you have enough time and quiet to be able to process what you are learning. Each study is approximately one hour long, but it will be an hour well spent.

First of all, understand that repentance of sin as well as the confession of sin must be done on an individual basis. You cannot ask for forgiveness for another person's sin. This is something that they must ask for on their own. That means that it is very important for anyone who wants to be freed from this to come to an understanding of it and to pray this prayer or one like it on their own. Please feel free to encourage others in your family to take part in this series to learn the truths and process it on their own. Here is an example of a prayer that would cover what we have learned.
For demons who are attached and influencing us through generational sin.
Dear God,
Thank you for helping me to see your truths. Thank you for helping me to understand that Christians in general, and I in particular am in a Spiritual war with the Devil and his demons. Thank you for helping me to see that these demons have had the opportunity to attach themselves to me and to my family. I recognize that these demons may have gained access to me through my parents, grandparents, great grand parents and so on. I can definitely see generational sin in my family. (Talk to Him about your particular generational sin). God I would ask now that you would close the door to this sin that has been plaguing my family. Help it to no longer affect me. By the blood of Jesus I know that I am covered and forgiven, so through Jesus blood I ask that you would remove these demons from me and allow them to no longer have any influence over me. Father please close the door that my family has opened once and for all. Please help me to feel the peace that comes with your Holy Spirit freeing me from this burden.
For demons who are attached influencing me through my own personal sin.
Dear God,
Thank you for helping me to see the reality of the Devil and his demons. Thank you for helping me to understand that they can gain access to my life through my own personal sins which I have chosen over your ways. God I repent of my sins, especially the ones that I have struggled with for a long time. (Talk to Him about your personal sins). God I repent of these sins and desire to turn away from them. I pray specifically for any demons that may have attached themselves to me through a door that I left open by committing these sins. In the name of Jesus I ask that you remove these demons from me, and help me to commit to living a life that never lets them back in. God please close this door that the demons have come in through and by the blood of your Son forgive me for giving them access in the first place. Please let me feel the peace that comes with your Holy Spirit freeing me from this burden.
